Kyubey Plushie

I made this guy during my practicum school's spring break before I visited a friend, who I later gave the plush to! I wrote the pattern down as I went, and since someone asked for it when I posted the plush on Ravelry, I cleaned it up and made it (hopefully) far more easy to understand.

    I am new to crocheting and am confused by your directions. For example, you write "Row 2: 1sc, 2sc in one x 6" Why not write "3sc in one x 6"? I must be missing something. Thank you for taking time to help me! We are very excited to try this pattern!
